Schist

It is so great to finally see the schist go up around the wooden posts and pillars. Really chuffed with the entrance hall too!

Look carefully and you can see the first snows of winter on the mountains in the distance!

Sure is a long hallway!

Things moving on a pace now. The electrician and AV guy are doing the fit out of witches sockets and speakers.

The tiles have arrived and the tiler has started.

More views of the outside. The second coat has gone on the Hebel and the rest of the scaffolding should be coming down. We can start to landscape the garden then.

There is an awful lot of earth moving to be done and a very large amount of driveway to be laid!!

Great to have the windows free of plastic. Nice to see how light and airy the kitchen dining area 

will be. One hell of a lot of curtains to be made though.

Kitchens are a go!!

So finally the start of the fitting out of our new home. The kitchens, pantries and laundries are going in and the decorators are working hard too. The ceilings have been painted and the first coat is on the walls. They have also got about 50 doors to paint!!! Apparently it will only take them about 12 days.
