Far too complicated for me to get my head around. Fortunately Wayne seems to understand!

The sub contractors arrive!!

A lot of vans and utes on site today as the audio visual guys, electricians, plumbers and cladding guys arrive to start work.

The roof is almost finished and the windows and doors are going in!

The roof goes on and it's a wrap!

First half of the roof is on Mum and Dad's end of the house and they are wrapped! The garage roof and wrapping also finished! Windows next week. Looks awfully big!!

The roof trusses finished and the fascias go on!!

Finally more progress! The roof trusses are finished. The fascias and guttering are going on! Hopefully the roof will be added at the end of the week.

Good to see the roof lines and shape better, especially the link area between the two houses (1st photo below). Second photo down shows the blue supporting lintel along the top of the large stacker door opening into Mum and Dad's (Chris and Gordon's) kitchen.and the supporting posts for the covered verandah area just outside. They now have to have a BBQ and get into kiwi cooking!!!!

The roof timbers go up!

Slowly but surely it is starting to look like a house with the roof trusses going up. Patio's and verandahs go down too!

Jinx enjoys exploring and chasing after hares and rabbits!!
